Larios: redesigning an icon
Larios commissioned us to evolve its packaging with a clear objective: to update an icon – the n.1 gin in Spain – while maintaining its strong identity and reinforcing its connection to its origin.
A project that doesn’t aim to break, but to reveal more clearly what has always been there: its Mediterranean character.
The Mediterranean as essence
Larios reflects a lifestyle shaped by light, a slower rhythm, and a way of enjoying life. This is also present in the personality of the liquid itself: its citrus character, botanical notes, and freshness.
The redesign translates this dual condition—cultural and organoleptic—into a richer, more evocative visual language.
Illustrations build a recognizable landscape: vegetation, fruits, and Mediterranean architecture that shape a distinctive, close, and authentic universe. This is not conceived as mere decoration—it is an iconic representation of its origin.
More visibility, stronger presence
The new design also responds to a functional need: to stand out in an increasingly saturated environment.
The label is now made of paper, bringing brightness and contrast to the glass, improving legibility, and increasing impact both at the bar and on the shelf.
At the same time, it adds a tactile dimension that enhances the perception of quality and positions the product within a more contemporary and premium territory. Larios is now more visible, more recognizable, and more desirable.
Evolving without losing identity
The redesign respects the brand’s historical codes, but reorganizes, simplifies, and enhances them.
The label architecture gains clarity, the brand breathes better, and the overall perception is more solid and up to date.
A balance between continuity and evolution that allows Larios to remain what it has always been—THE reference—now adapted to a new context.
Because sometimes innovation is not about changing everything, but about making the essential visible.
