The balance between healthy and irreverent
At NTITY, we developed the brand identity and packaging design for Zero Zen, an innovative tea beverage that combines healthy ingredients with a fun, disruptive personality. The project involved creating the brand from scratch, where the naming not only provides the name but also sets the tone and attitude of the entire experience, evolving to build a complete visual universe.
A naming with a dual soul
The name Zero Zen encapsulates the essence of the project: a beverage that starts with something natural, light, and balanced (Zen), but with a touch of rebellion and fun that makes it unique (Zero Rules). This duality—healthy yet daring, fresh yet characterful—became the foundation on which we built the entire visual identity.
The logo, based on a bold modular typography, is reinforced by a smiling devil icon, symbolizing this balanced yet irreverent personality. The vertical composition of the “Zero Zen” name is inspired by oriental script, reinforcing its impact on the shelf and providing a distinctive touch to the industry.
Packaging that conveys energy and freshness
Each variety is distinguished by powerful illustrations and color codes that contrast with the white background, creating a fresh and highly recognizable aesthetic. The graphic lines inspired by Asian culture add a touch of exoticism and authenticity, while the vibrant colors and mask illustrations reinforce the brand’s bold character.
An adaptable and recognizable system
The design allows for easy range extension, with a flexible and memorable graphic system that ensures visibility at all touch points: on-line, digital communications, and brand activations.
